During my third year of university, I chose the elective module, Short story. "Attitude is Everything" is a short story created to demonstrate the impact of a positive mindset. The short story was created as a motivation platform targeted towards businesses as a business strategy.

Brief
Demonstrate an understanding of the development process required to manage the production of a short story.
Apply a range of complex technical and creative skills in the creation of a creative short story product.
Identify new perspectives in creative storytelling, via the critical evaluation of a range of media in terms of production styles, visual interpretation and storytelling.
Approach
Throughout this module, I explored the process associated with storytelling and researched what makes a good story. The need for a conflict was necessary as well as a common link (red thread) running throughout. Furthermore, I discovered that the best stories told are usually very stripped back and simple, and leave the viewer with a feeling. I took on a character animation video to learn and demonstrate a new set of skills.
Outcome
The Attitude is everything video is simple yet effective at displaying the message. The audio is fitting and the repetition of scenes is effective in displaying the key differences in both boys outlooks on their environments. The character animation on the whole is slick and effective.
